Inpatient Psychiatric Care
Hope and healing for behavioral and mental health conditions
Most people who have behavioral or mental health issues will never need inpatient psychiatric care. But for severe cases, inpatient care allows us to provide comprehensive treatment in a structured setting.
Inpatient assessment
Patients usually enter inpatient psychiatric care after a referral from an emergency room doctor. Occasionally, a psychiatrist or primary care doctor may also refer patients for inpatient treatment. Once you’ve been admitted to inpatient care, a thorough assessment allows us to create a customized treatment plan to meet your specific needs. Learn more about our inpatient assessment process.
Our treatment programs
We offer inpatient psychiatric care programs based on age for adults and children age 5 and older with a referral from a healthcare provider:

Support after inpatient care ends
Managing complex behavioral and mental health conditions is an ongoing process that requires a strong support system. Ideally, your loved ones will play an important role in your continuing care at home, as will psychiatric providers on an outpatient basis.
We strongly encourage you to take advantage of resources in our area that provide ongoing education and support for patients and families dealing with mental illness. Learn more about these resources.
