Black Greek Letter Consortium
The Black Greek Letter Consortium (BGLC) is made up of the 9 National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) organizations, also known as the Divine Nine (D9). These historically Black Fraternities and Sororities support the mission of the All of Us Research Program to advance health equity for those considered underrepresented in biomedical research.

BWHI is the first and only national non-profit solely dedicated to achieving health equity for Black women in America. Founded in 1983 by Byllye Y. Avery as the National Black Women’s Health Project at a conference on the campus of Spelman College, BWHI has evolved into a nationally recognized organization leading health policy, education, research, knowledge and leadership development and communications designed to improve the health outcomes of Black women.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. established the Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) as a public charity supporting scholastic achievement, public service programs, and research initiatives focused upon African American women. For over two decades, LGBT Detroit has been receiving unwavering support from neighboring communities in any capacity that promotes the wellbeing and integrity involved in fostering an environment conducive to lesbian, gay, bi and transgender individuals irrespective of race, culture, or socio-economic status. The community support is manifested in their advocating, partnership, testifying before local and state legislators, providing safe gathering spaces where members of the LGBT community can interact without fear of persecution or bigotry.

Since 1975, the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) has been the nation’s leading professional society for Latino nurses. With a growing membership and more than 40 local chapters, NAHN, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, represents the voices of Latino nurses throughout the United States.
NAHN is devoted to promoting safe, quality health care delivery to Latino communities and individuals, and we recognize excellence among Latino nurses, provide formal and informal mentoring opportunities, and generally serve as a center of excellence for our members.
NAHN members advocate, educate, volunteer, seek partnerships, and conduct programming in the Latino community to improve outcomes, elevate literacy, heighten education, and influence policy.
