Pediatric primary care and specialty services

Henry Ford Health has been providing pediatric services to our community for more than 100 years.

When it comes to your child’s health, you want the best care. At Henry Ford Pediatrics, we understand that, and we provide the same expert, compassionate care that we expect for our own children.

Message from the Chair of Pediatrics; Uzma Shah MD, FAAP, FAASLD

Henry Ford Pediatrics is dedicated to the care of children in Michigan. We strongly believe that the provision of care is not limited to ambulatory clinics and hospitals but extends to the child’s family and community. We are committed to our Mission Statement ‘to give every child a chance at life’. And as part of that pledge we are continuing to grow and improve our expansive clinical services in both primary care as well as all the specialties across all age groups for pediatrics ranging from the newborns to adolescent care. Best in care also requires being at the cutting edge of new knowledge and science. Our health care teams work in close collaboration with our adult counterparts to provide that excellence in care, that then continues into adulthood.

"We hold everlasting hope and commitment to improving the lives of children in Michigan." Uzma Shah, M.D., Chair, Henry Ford Pediatrics
