There are many ways you can make a difference for cancer patients at Henry Ford Cancer. Whether you prefer to join a fundraising team, make a one-time gift or become a volunteer, you will have an impact on cancer patients in the communities we serve—and beyond.

Game On Cancer

Every year, hundreds of community members like you form Game On Cancer teams to raise money in support of patient transportation, medication, research and other critical needs. The Game On Cancer season culminates in the late fall with a celebration at Ford Field and features meet-and-greets with Detroit Lions players, dinner and more.

We are proud of the hundreds of donors a year who invest in Henry Ford Cancer through their support for patients, leading-edge treatments, facilities and research to better understand and cure these difficult diseases.

Your generosity makes big things possible, like the construction of the world-class Brigitte Harris Cancer Pavilion, innovative technology to treat abdomen tumors, new hope for pancreatic cancer—and much more.

In-Kind Donation Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in donating to Henry Ford Cancer. While we greatly appreciate and enjoy donations from our community, the health and safety of our patients is our first priority. We have developed the following guidelines for in-kind donations. Guidelines are subject to change.

Items Accepted:

• Blankets (new only)
• Patient hats and/or socks (new only)
• Mastectomy bras (new only)
• Breast Prostheses (new only)
• Port pillows/mastectomy seatbelt pillows (new only)
• Gloves (new only)
• Aquaphor or Aloe Vesta (new, unopened, unexpired only)

Items not Accepted:

• Homemade hats and blankets
• Stuffed animals/plush toys
• Food or candy
• Human Hair
• Wigs
• Medical equipment (ex. wheelchairs, walkers, etc.)
• Items exposed to smoke or other strong scents
• Any USED items, including books, magazines, blankets, clothing
• Items that advertise outside organizations unless they are an approved HFHS vendor

Donations are shared across our Henry Ford Cancer locations. All donations that are not able to be used by Henry Ford will be donated to other charitable organizations in Michigan.
