Dr Everett is an excellent doctor and I am very happy with his expertise, but I almost always feel like he is rushing through the visit. This leads to me not getting a full answer to my questions because he is rushing out and I feel like I am bothering him. I generally only have a couple of questions, but it has caused me to be confused or unsure about what to do.

I have been a patient of Dr. Everett for many years (maybe almost 20?). The first time I saw him, he probably saved the vision in one eye: I had an ulcer on my cornea. He prescribed eye drops and had me come back the next day to follow up. He said there was improvement already!

I made an appointment after going to an urgent care regarding issues with my right eye including blood and sight changes. The urgent care doctor gave me a diagnosis and recommended I see a specialist. The initial testing for my appointment prior to the provider seeing me was good. The wait before the provider came in the exam room I felt was too long, I believe it was over 30 minutes. Unfortunately to me the provider seemed in a bad mood, didn't want to see me, was in a rush to complete his visit with me. I didn't care for his demeanor at all. He was too quick I thought in trying to explain to me what he found was the issue with the change in my sight. I actually did some searching online after the appointment was over to gain a better understanding in his findings. Also, as he was quickly speaking with me about his findings and I asked if this is the start of something that may get worse he said "I didn't say that!". His tone was inappropriate and after my appointment was over I started looking for somewhere else to receive future care.
