Mission and AIM Statements
Mission Statement:
To be leaders and advocates in the pursuit of excellence in women’s healthcare, using osteopathic principles, while providing educational programs, medical research and quality patient care to the community. We will value the principles of quality, integrity, honesty and compassion so as to educate each other as physicians, in order to promote health and well-being.
AIM Statement:
Our program strives to produce excellent physicians that will enter the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Through dedicated staff in both general and subspecialty fields, a comprehensive experience is gained largely through a community hospital setting with additional experiences in urban and suburban settings. Emphasis is placed on an evidence-based approach that is taught through scheduled didactics and demonstrated through self-directed learning and assessment. The residency is continually evolving to meet the needs of this ever-changing specialty with an Osteopathic focus.
