Why did I receive a billing notification?
Thanks to the availability of secure digital platforms, Henry Ford Health is now offering convenient, environmentally friendly text and email notifications to more patients.
If I receive billing text or email notifications, will I still receive a paper statement?
Your statement delivery option will stay the same. If you receive paper statements in the mail, you will continue to receive paper statements. If you signed up for paperless statements, you will continue to view your statements in MyChart.
I currently receive paper statements in the mail. How do I sign up for paperless billing?
Look for this button on your MyChart billing summary page on any device:

What if I don’t want to receive billing text or email notifications?
On a desktop computer:
Hover over “billing” on the Communication Preferences screen and double-click the icon in the column for the communication method you’d like to turn on or off:
On any mobile device, tap the icons to turn communication methods on or off.
Why is my statement balance different from my balance in MyChart?
Your statement reflects your balance at the time it was created. Your balance in MyChart includes any activity since then.
Why did I receive a paper statement when I signed up for paperless billing?
From time to time, Henry Ford Health will send a paper statement as an additional reminder if you have a past-due balance.
