Care Philosophy:
My goal is to provide evidence-based treatment to my patients and help them integrate health and wellness philosophy into their lives. I treat every patient with respect and dignity while providing the highest quality of care.

Biographical Statement:
Dr. MacLean is a lifelong Michigander born and raised on the east side of Detroit. She attended Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine program, and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors. Wanting to return to Detroit and serve her community, Dr. MacLean completed her residency at Henry Ford Hospital where she served as chief resident in her final year of training. Prior to becoming the residency program director for the psychiatry program at Henry Ford Hospital, she was in private practice. She has a passion for medical education and has served in many leadership roles such as the Dean of Student Affairs and Career Development at Wayne State University School of Medicine. It was through this role of helping medical students where her drive to learn more about physician health and wellness began.  As director of Physician Wellness at Henry Ford Health System, Dr. MacLean helps physicians and residents learn to apply healthy coping strategies, find good life balance and deliver high-quality health care to patients. Her work includes encouraging physicians and physicians-in-training to achieve and maintain a balanced, healthy lifestyle by providing skills they can use to reach optimum wellness. Her goal is to empower physicians to become positive role models in teaching wellness to their trainees and patients. Along with medical education, Dr. MacLean cares about the health of people. She aims to help adults struggling with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) by helping them learn more about their illness and how to manage it while improving their quality of life.
