About the program
The Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery Residency Training Program of Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is committed to educating the next generation of Otolaryngologists. Residents are provided a complete education in the comprehensive medical and surgical care of patients with disorders of the head and neck. The educational program combines basic science knowledge of Otolaryngology with rigorous medical and surgical training to prepare residents for a career either as a comprehensive Otolaryngologist or entrance into subspeciality fellowship training programs.
The Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program of Henry Ford Macomb Hospital accepts one resident per year, resulting in high volume one-on-one surgical training. Under the supervision of faculty who are dedicated to both resident education and quality patient care, residents are exposed to all areas of Otolaryngology, including head and neck oncologic surgery, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, neurotology, pediatric otolaryngology, rhinology, allergy, endocrine surgery, and laryngology.
