The Henry Ford Hospital Neuroradiology fellowship training program core curriculum is based on the ASNR Educational Committee core curriculum.

This curriculum will be followed in conjunction with the ACGME program requirements for fellowship education in Neuroradiology. The body of knowledge, training, and practice of Neuroradiology comprises both imaging and interventional procedures related to the brain, spine, and spinal cord, head, neck, and organs of special sense in adults and children.

The neuroradiologyfellow will function as an expert diagnostic and/or therapeutic consultant and practitioner.

The program includes 11 months tra.ining at Henry Ford Hospital's main campus andone month at the University of Michigan's C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.

Additionally, the trainee will foster one or more of the following depending upon circumstances appropriate and effective consultation with clinical colleagues in:

• Neurology
• Neurosurgery
• Neuro-oncology
• Neuropathology
• Otolaryngology
• Ophthalmology
• Radiation Oncology
• Rehabilitation
• Pain Management
• Emergency Medicine
• Anesthesia
• and, if applicable, to provide opportunity, skills and/or support for research.
• The pediatric component of training is undertaken at the University of Michigan's C.S.Mott Children's Hospital during a four-week rotation.

Rotations:

• MRI
• CT
• Angiography (Diagnostic and Neuro-Interventional)
• Pain Management/ Myelography

Fellows rotate through each area in weekly intervals.Additionally, adedicated two week rotation involving ACGME mandatedresearch and advanced imaging techniques is built into the curriculum.
