Department Chairman: Manual Brown, MD
Fellowship Program Director: Brent Griffith, M.D.
Fellowship Coordinator: Marsha Ray (313) 916-7952

The ACGME accredited Neuroradiology Fellowship Program offered at Henry Ford Hospital offers trainees with diverse training in all areas of neuro imaging, preparing them equally well for either an academic, semi-academic or private practice career. Two fellows per year are accepted for our 12- month program that begins July 1 and ends June 30. We offer state of the art equipment and exceptional exposure to a variety of MR and CT cross-sectional imaging, diagnostic and theraputic neurointerventional procedures and advanced CT and MR imaging techniques in a scholarly educational environment supported by highly skilled staff of the Henry Ford Health, one of the largest and most respected health care delivery systems in the nation.

The one year fellowship consists of 9 months of training in Neuroangiography, Interventional Neuroradiology, Myelography, image guided therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging at Henry Ford Hospital.

Additionally, two months rotation in advanced neuro imaging techniques of functional MRI, MR spectroscopy, MR and CT perfusion of brain, Diffusion Tensor Imaging, MR Tractography, 3D imaging and Intraoperative MR. Dedicated time for research is included during this two-month rotation.

The last month of training consists of a rotation in Pediatric Neuroradiology at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
