We are excited to represent the Department of Internal Medicine!

We aim to provide a positive clinical experience that balances clinical duties, education, and wellness throughout all phases of training. We are invested in the success of our residents and their career aspirations, whether it be primary care, hospital medicine, or continued education in a variety of medical subspecialties.

Detroit serves as an invaluable educational background, providing residents with inspiring lessons in cultural humility and daily reminders of the role of social determinants in healthcare provision.

Henry Ford Health has a strong reputation for delivering exceptional care, largely thanks to our outstanding residents. As a large quaternary care center, the training our residents receive while rotating in the general wards, subspecialty floors, and medical and cardiac intensive care units is second to none and prized by prestigious institutions nationwide.
