Your first point of contact when becoming a Henry Ford Health international patient is our care coordination team. They facilitate communication with your doctors, provide cost information and schedule treatments. Our team can also help advise on any necessary pre-testing in your home country before traveling to the US.

When it’s time to come to our facilities, the coordinators will assist you in making international travel plans, such as helping with obtaining mandatory travel documentation and meeting United States travel requirements. We can offer greeting and escorting patients and family members on arrival as well as arranging transportation to appointments. Interpreter services are available in more than 120 languages, including services available to patients who are deaf or hearing-impaired.
