What is private duty service?

Private duty services may be arranged for patients who need extended care, from a few hours a week to round-the-clock-care. Typically, this is paid for privately, or through specialized, long-term care policies.

We tailor our services to fit the specific needs of our clients in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Jackson counties. Flexible scheduling allows us to provide short-term or long-term care to clients in the home or facility setting, as well as specialized care for students in their schools.

When ordered by a physician, our in-home phlebotomy service is a safe and convenient option for clients who require blood draws.

What does private duty service include?

Some of our private duty services include:

• Errands/shopping
• Food preparation and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Medication set-up for safe management and refills of multiple prescriptions
• Personal care (assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing)
• Physical and occupational therapy
• Respite care (caregiver relief) and companionship services
• Skilled and high-tech nursing care
• Assistance with movement and exercise
• Physical and occupational therapy

We offer our services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year throughout Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Jackson counties.
