What is private duty service?
Private duty services may be arranged for patients who need extended care, from a few hours a week to round-the-clock-care. Typically, this is paid for privately, or through specialized, long-term care policies.
We tailor our services to fit the specific needs of our clients in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Jackson counties. Flexible scheduling allows us to provide short-term or long-term care to clients in the home or facility setting, as well as specialized care for students in their schools.
When ordered by a physician, our in-home phlebotomy service is a safe and convenient option for clients who require blood draws.
What does private duty service include?
Some of our private duty services include:
- Errands/shopping
- Food preparation and feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders
- Medication set-up for safe management and refills of multiple prescriptions
- Personal care (assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing)
- Physical and occupational therapy
- Respite care (caregiver relief) and companionship services
- Skilled and high-tech nursing care
- Assistance with movement and exercise
- Physical and occupational therapy
Where are we located?
We offer our services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year throughout Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Jackson counties.
