I was referred to Dr. Tam for a surgical consultation to remove a large goiter on my thyroid. She was very thorough in explaining the procedure as well as in discussing the need to meet with thoracic surgery to remove a secondary mediastinal mass. All risks were discussed along with recovery, post opp expectations, and the procedure.
