About Me
Biographical Statement
Dr. Andrea Plawecki is dual-board certified in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery and Sleep Medicine. She completed her residency at Henry Ford Health in Detroit and her fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Outside of medicine, she enjoys staying active outdoors, traveling abroad, and exploring the Detroit arts, music, and food scenes.
Research Interests
Her clinical and research interests include surgical treatments for obstructive sleep apnea and sleep-related breathing disorders, as well as improving quality of multidisciplinary care for otolaryngologic conditions and sleep disorders. Her work has resulted in several journal publications, as well as presentations at national and international conferences.

Dr. Plawecki was very thorough, professional and kind. I did not feel rushed and she took time to explain, during a procedure, exactly what she was doing and why. When I checked in downstairs, the gal said "Oh, you will love her!" Clearly she is well respected by patients and staff alike.
