Dr. Patel is the best. I've had appt.'s w\2 others general surgeons @ HFWB and both put off my surgical needs and suggested I lose 10 - 15 lbs. Dr. Patel always treated me as a person - Not a number on the scale and completed two successful surgeries.

Dr Patel, took his time and explained procedures where I could understand prior to doing surgery and educated me well on post op care He has excellent bedside manner and cares for his patients never seem rushed and appears to be very knowledgeable of his profession I was there when my cousin had surgery he made her feel so at ease and her surgery went well I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon for my procedure I drove from grosse pointe woods just because of the experience I've had with Dr Patel and the whole office crew at HF Bloomfield

I was referred to Dr Patel by Dr after I had been examined by Dr. I was impressed that Dr referred me to a surgeon that was better qualified to treat my condition. When I met with Dr Patel, he was well versed in my current condition, and my extensive history of abdominal surgeries. He took the time to explain many aspects of the current and previous conditions to me in a clear and understandable way. I was confident that he would do a good job after my first visit with him.
