I have been seeing Dr. Kumar for approximately 8 years for dry macular degeneration and another retinal problem. Of all the care I receive at Henry Ford, I consider my annual visit with Dr. Kumar amongst the most Important. Dr. Kumar Is not the most genial of physicians, but as long as he gets the evaluation and management of my eye disease right and I am able to preserve my vision, he does not need to be genial.

Dr. Kumar has been my retinal specialist for the past 5-7 years. I see him annually for a check-up. He is brusque and efficient. I don't think he knows my name. However, he was highly-recommended to me as "the best." If it comes to the point where I will need to receive more advanced care for my vision, I believe that Dr. Kumar can provide this.
