About Me
Biographical Statement
During my residency, I developed a strong interest in understanding spine motion and Biomechanics. The depth and extent of my research has translated into numerous publications and scientific manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and books. I am committed to academic Neurosurgery by maintaining robust ties to academic institutions and by being proactive in surgical residents' education and teaching. I have a passion for treating patients with Neuro-Oncological illnesses, peripheral nerve conditions and Neuro-traumatic injuries and believe that Minimally Invasive Spine (MIS) techniques, when applied correctly and thoughtfully, can result in the best long-term outcomes. I am thoroughly committed to my patients; they have been the driving force and motivation to serve my Community.
I am proud to be one of the first surgeons in Michigan to adopt and incorporate cutting edge robotic spinal surgery to improve patient outcomes and I was the first to introduce awake cranial surgery in Jackson and Hillsdale counties. I remain dedicated to advancing the world of Neurosurgery by closely collaborating with my peers, actively participating in academic and teaching opportunities, and continuing research that would lead to newer technology and product development to ultimately improve patient outcomes. I pledge to dedicate my Education and career to helping my patients find solutions to spinal and Neurological conditions.
