Statement in Response to Inaccurate Madison Heights Hospital News Report

We are aware of an inaccurate story in the press that alleges the transfer of our Madison Heights hospital will result in more than 100 vendor job cuts. This is false. 

Below is a joint statement from Henry Ford Health and TouchPoint, which employs these specific team members. 

“Any time we have a change in operations, job preservation is a top priority. That is exactly what is happening in this case. At the time the WARN notices were submitted in compliance with federal law, TouchPoint was in the process of securing job opportunities within the system. Since then, every impacted team member has been offered continued employment at Henry Ford Health. Any suggestion of mass, permanent job loss is inaccurate.”
