Rand assumed the role of President of Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in April 2023. Rand is an accomplished healthcare executive with over 25 years of experience within complex and matrixed organizations, including large integrated health systems, community, and academic organizations.

Rand is a transformational leader who engages all stakeholders through innovation and collaboration. He has vast experience in Surgical Services, Neurosciences, Cardiovascular, Ambulatory and Physician Practice Operations during tenures at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a 425-bed tertiary referral and teaching hospital and member of Ascension Health and the 537-bed St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan, the flagship hospital of the St. Joseph Mercy Health System and a member of Trinity Health.

A Michigan native, Rand holds a Master of Healthcare Administration, is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executive and has many board affiliations.
