ECHO-CANOE

The ECHO-CANOE study is no longer enrolling pregnant moms and their babies but is continuing to follow enrolled children.

The Childhood Allergy and Neonatal Environmental (CANOE) study seeks to understand what affects the development of asthma and allergies. The study aims to find clues that could help doctors diagnose asthma in children sooner, in addition to figuring out ways to prevent asthma and allergies.

ECHO stands for Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes. This study seeks to understand what affects child health and how child health can be improved.
