View Algorithm

The participating investigational sites have adopted the National CSI algorithm as the foundation for their treatment of AMI (STEMI & NSTEMI) patients who present in cardiogenic shock. Partnering hospitals utilize this defined cardiogenic shock protocol which includes quick placement of the Impella heart pump, PCI, and right heart monitoring to rapidly reduce the use of inotropes. Procedural and quality data is collected on each patient and submitted for inclusion in the registry.
