Henry Ford ENHANCE is a confidential program designed to assist you and your loved ones by providing free counseling services. Using the service will not hurt your chances for a raise or a promotion, or affect your job security. Neither your manager nor human resources will find out that you are using this counseling service.

Henry Ford ENHANCE has strict standards of confidentiality. Not only does it comply with HIPAA guidelines, but Henry Ford Health also follows a strict code of ethics with extra guidelines governing disclosure of information. Henry Ford ENHANCE has its own secured file system and cannot be accessed by anyone outside of the program.

Everyone experiences situations that can cause stress and require some problem solving. Yet, when these situations aren’t resolved right away and become a burden, they can impact your work and your home life. Sometimes, just having someone to talk to can help you identify the issue and find a practical solution, putting you back in control.

Henry Ford ENHANCE counselors focus on results, helping you define the challenges that are affecting your work-life balance, and giving you practical solutions that can help you get back on track Henry Ford ENHANCE program follows a four-step process: Initial call, consultation appointment, developing a plan, and follow-up and support.

Henry Ford ENHANCE is provided to you at no cost by your employer. There are no co-pays or hidden fees, and health insurance is not necessary.

Henry Ford ENHANCE is available to you, your dependents, and anyone living in your household.

Henry Ford ENHANCE offers a workshop series where you can learn about stress management, working with difficult behavior and managing change. We also publish a quarterly e-newsletter, which offers articles with real-world solutions and tips for personal and professional success.
