Biographical Statement

Dr. Su is an Assistant Scientist in the Center for Bioinformatics, Department of Public Health Sciences, Henry Ford Health. Her research focuses on leveraging electronic healthcare records (EHR) data and medical informatics for clinical and translational research, particularly in obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN). Her goal is to apply statistical and informatics approaches to enhance the quality of treatment for women undergoing various gynecologic surgeries and to improve maternal and child health outcomes. Additionally, she is interested in gynecologic cancer, with a focus on health disparities, treatments, and outcomes improvement. As a data curation lead, Dr. Su has supported various cancer studies and developed a cancer cohort builder/dashboard, aiding cancer researchers in grant preparation and assessing cancer data quality for operational purposes.
