About Me

Biographical Statement:
Dr. Maye's primary research objectives are (1) to increase access to evidence-based prevention and/or intervention for infants and toddlers at risk for neurodevelopmental disorders and (2) to contribute to the fields of implementation science and behavioral economics through research within her primary content area.

Dr. Maye is particularly interested in identifying implementation strategies that will increase the uptake of interventions within the contexts she works in, primarily community settings where infants and children spend large amounts of time during the early critical developmental period (i.e., 0-to-36-months).

 

Research Interests:
Her specific research interests focus on identifying implementation strategies that may increase infants hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit access to developmentally supportive interventions that may promote better language and cognitive outcomes and testing/developing implementation strategies that are informed by principles of behavioral economics that increase the quality and quantity of community providers persistent use of evidence-based early interventions within inclusive settings.
