About Me

Biographical Statement

I am an Assistant Scientist in the Division of Biostatistics within the Department of Public Health Sciences. As a biostatistician, my research focuses on addressing critical public health issues such as suicidal behavior, hospital readmissions, and other outcomes, utilizing patient-reported data and electronic health records (EHR). I have a strong foundation in statistics, with expertise in high-dimensional data analysis, large-sample inference, and specialized experience in transfer learning and federated learning. This background enables me to develop and implement complex models using data from multiple departments and healthcare facilities. Throughout my work, I have collaborated effectively with researchers and clinicians from diverse disciplines to create models that are both practical and applicable in real-world clinical settings. Looking ahead, my expertise, training, and dedication have well prepared me to lead and contribute to impactful research projects in public health and other interdisciplinary healthcare domains.
