About Me

Biographical Statement

Jess Gray received their master’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University. They are certified as an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Michigan and have completed comprehensive DBT training with the DBT Institute of Michigan. Their areas of clinical interest include anxiety, depression, substance use, and gender and sexuality issues. 

Jess integrates a strength-based, solution-focused approach drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness and harm reduction techniques to support the individual goals of each patient. They are passionate about supporting those who are LGBTQIA+ identified and other marginalized and oppressed populations.

Jess Gray completed NASW-MI’s “Affirming Care Provision Across the Gender Spectrum: A Training for Mental Health Professionals” training and am now listed on their gender affirming care directory
