Nurses Dress Babies for Halloween in NICU

DETROIT— Nurses at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit are helping make the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) the most magical place on Earth for their tiny patients this Halloween. They dressed the babies as heroes and heroines from Disney movies for photos posting today to Henry Ford Health’s social media channels.

There's Ariel and her sidekicks Flounder and Sebastian from the Little Mermaid, Belle and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella with her missing slipper, Simba, Woody, Dumbo and more!

The Halloween photo shoot is a beloved tradition in the Henry Ford Hospital NICU. One of the nurses’ moms makes the costumes every year. This year they come complete with wigs and headpieces! Each baby’s family gets to take their costume home as a keepsake of the little one’s first Halloween.
