Thank you for your interest in sharing your time and talents with Henry Ford Rochester Hospital! We are incredibly grateful for our community's overwhelming desire to support our patients, visitors, and staff.
Due to an exceptional response, we are currently experiencing a very high volume of pending applications.
To ensure we provide a quality onboarding experience for everyone, please note the following before you apply:
Placement Waitlist: All new applications are currently being placed on a waitlist.
Timeline Uncertainty: Because our current volunteer roles are fully staffed, we unfortunately cannot anticipate or guarantee a timeline for when waitlisted applicants will be contacted to begin onboarding.
Application Review: We review applications as openings arise. If a vacancy matches your availability and background, a member of the Volunteer Services team will reach out to you directly.

Requirements
To be fulfilled before a volunteer can be scheduled for a shift:
- Orientation / Interview
- All required Forms (provided throughout the process)
- Health Screening / Clearance through our Occupational Health Department
- Badging (completed with Security office in which they take a photo and print out your badge at time of visit)
- Pick up a smock (required part of uniform)
- Training / Shadowing
