Bartimaeus Awards
On Sunday, October 8, 2023 The Eye and The Chip Bartimaeus Award Ceremony was held during the research congress. The coveted Bartimaeus Award was presented to one of the research scientists chosen by previous Bartimaeus Award recipients for his/her contribution to advancing the field of artificial vision. Eduardo Fernandez, M.D., Ph.D. was the winner of the 2023 Bartimaeus award. Dr. Fernandez is a Professor at the University of Miguel Hernandez in Elche, Spain.
Over 85 researchers from the United States and around the world were present for this special occasion.
