Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Nursing
Welcome from our Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer
As the Chief Nursing Officer at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, Henry Ford Health Center – Brownstown and affiliated clinics, I am proud to lead our outstanding team of nurses, who represent the heart of patient care.
We believe each team member contributes directly to our mission, growth and success. We value and respect our nurses and work tirelessly to provide a positive and supportive nursing practice environment.
Below are some of the recent steps we have taken toward this goal.
Recent achievements

- Expanded telemetry capabilities throughout the hospital, adding a virtual Cardiac Arrhythmia Tech program to support
- Completely restructured our Nurse Education department, hiring unit educators for each Nursing unit
- Completed an evaluation revamp of our Nurse Residency program based on the input from program graduates and other stakeholders
- Implemented a CNO shadow program in which I spend three hours in each of the nursing care areas in scrubs, shadowing a nurse
- Initiated both System and local CNO quarterly townhalls
- Dedicated the first Thursday of every month for bedside nurses to participate in Shared Governance (The hours are included within the nurse’s contracted hours.)
