Leslie Lantin, BSN, RN, CEN
Director of Nursing Emergency Services
Leslie is the Director for the Emergency Department (ED) at Henry Ford Hospital. She is responsible for the operation of the 77-bed department, that sees more than 77,000 patients annually, and is home to over 250 team members. Leslie began her nursing career at Henry Ford Hospital in 2015, where she worked for two years on the Pulmonary Medicine unit before transitioning to the Emergency Department in 2017. Leslie worked as a staff nurse for four years in the Emergency Department prior to becoming a Nurse Manager in the ED. In July 2024, she transitioned to her new role as the Director.
Leslie received her BSN from the University of Windsor in 2015 and is currently completing her Master of Nursing degree through Athabasca University. Leslie is the Co-Chair of the multi-disciplinary Quality in Patient Safety Committee in the ED and has been an active member in many positive process improvements in the department. Leslie is also a certified Firefighter and works at her local volunteer hall, where she is able to bring back broader emergency management skills to her work at Henry Ford Hospital.
In Leslie’s mind, she sees healthcare as a team sport, and one that requires extreme collaboration across all disciplines. She is committed to leading continuous innovation and improvement within the ED and throughout Henry Ford Hospital.
