Curriculum

Our residents rotate through many specialties and at multiple hospitals throughout their 5 years of training. Here is the current year-by-year curriculum our program offers. We also have additional curriculum we follow for ABSITE board preparations following the SCORE curriculum, provided to residents. We also have a dedicated simulations curriculum for skills practice.

Our residents have the opportunity to rotate primarily at Henry Ford Warren Hospital as well as at many regional hospitals including Henry Ford St. John Hospital, Sinai-Grace Hospital, Henry Ford Providence Hospital, Henry Ford Rochester Hospital, and Port Huron McClaren Hospital, all within 20 minutes of our base hospitals. Our residents also have the opportunity in years 4 and 5 to rotate at outside rotations of their choice, including a favorite in Munson, MI outside of Traverse City with provided housing.
