Dr. Sturgill has been involved in residency teaching at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital since the inception of the program in 2012. She transitioned into leadership within the program as the Associate Program director in 2013 and then advanced to the role of Program Director in 2015. She has demonstrated a passion for teaching residents and medical students the various aspects of Family Medicine. She enjoys teaching as well as performing osteopathic manipulative medicine and in-office procedures. In her time outside of her clinical duties, she enjoys spending time with her children who are actively involved in athletics, watching movies, and gardening.

Dr. Miller has been involved in residency teaching at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital since his return from Africa in 2016. As Core Faculty, he has primarily dedicated his time to one on one precepting at the Center for Family Health. Eight years spent in Mexico and Burundi has given him a passion for Global Health. He loves to see residents thrive and is always available to listen and give feedback. Outside of medicine, Dr. Miller loves to travel with his wife and four teenagers, work outside, and run.

Dr. Tam joined the residency faculty in 2021 after completing a Sports Medicine Fellowship with Henry Ford Health in Detroit. He currently practices at the Henry Ford Albion Clinic when he isn't precepting the residents at the Center for Family Health. He covers athletics for Homer, Springport, and Concord High Schools. During his free time, he likes to travel, explore new restaurants, and play volleyball. Fun fact: he placed 3rd at the Junior Olympics for Tae Kwon Do.

Dr. Tolson joined the residency faculty in 2020 after teaching at the osteopathic medical school and caring for patients at Michigan State University for over 11 years. She has lived in the Jackson area for the last 17 years as her kids have grown up and graduated from Stockbridge Community Schools. She enjoys contributing to the education of the residents both in the science and the art of medicine. In her free time, she enjoys going up north to her small cottage and having some R and R.
