Didactics

Residents learn through multiple avenues: hands-on clinical experiences, precepting and mentorship from faculty and senior residents, and protected didactic time on Wednesday afternoons.
The Wednesday afternoon didactics cycle through a 1.5 year curriculum covering monthly systems-based themes. Lectures are presented by faculty members and specialists throughout the Henry Ford system. Additionally, residents have the opportunity to present throughout their training in the setting of weekly M&M and morning report.
