Family Medicine Residency

The Family Medicine Residency Program at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital is one of the largest programs in the state of Michigan and one of the largest in the country. The program includes three-years of comprehensive training in family medicine with positions for 30 residents.

The Henry Ford Genesys Hospital's Family Medicine Residency Program is a robust and diverse program accredited by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). With a long tradition of family practice training dating back to 1971, our program is one of the most innovative residencies in the nation and our graduates are highly recruited. Our training embraces the broad spectrum of family practice from inpatient care to the ambulatory setting.

Henry Ford Genesys Hospital is affiliated with Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine and College of Osteopathic Medicine.
