Her professional interests include infectious diseases and emergency medicine. In her spare time, she is a competitive figure skater and coach. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science in Cellular & Integrative Physiology from Indiana University prior to earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Michigan (Go Blue!). Her professional interests include cardiology, critical care, and oncology. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, watching reality tv shows, spending time with her family and two dogs, and cheering on the Michigan Wolverines!

Dr. Ammar is from Dearborn, Michigan. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University, where she is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree. Before embarking on her fellowship, she completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency at the Detroit Medical Center/Harper-Hutzel Hospital. Her professional interests include anticoagulation, diabetes management, and teaching. In her free time, Amina enjoys traveling and practicing yoga.
