Residents complete a 6-week orientation rotation beginning in mid-June followed by 11 four-week rotations.

Longitudinal Experiences
- Medication Use Evaluation – completed over 7 months
- Major Project – completed over 12 months
- Clinical Staffing – every other weekend x 6 months (or attainment of objectives), then every third weekend

- Ohio Pharmacy Resident Conference (OPRC)
Additional Experiences
- Journal Watch - create visual abstracts to stay updated on the latest literature
- Journal Club - engage in lively discussions about recently published, groundbreaking studies
- Present a Continuing Education program to our team
- Engage in community service with co-residents (3 events/year)
- Stay involved through leadership opportunities with Southeastern Michigan Society of Health System Pharmacists (SMSHP), Michigan Society of Health System Pharmacists (MSHP) or other pharmacy organization
- Ongoing professional mentorship from experienced preceptors
- Teaching Certificate – through Wayne State University (optional)
