Opened in May 2023, the Janet & Jim Riehl North Tower at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is the largest healthcare investment in Macomb County history and is revolutionizing the delivery of healthcare in the region. This facility truly embodies the future of health, with 160 all-private patient rooms in a technologically advanced, modernized healing environment for team members, patients and families alike.
Donor support continues to enhance care experiences and fuel our ongoing campus transformation, from improving our ICU capabilities to leading the effort toward becoming an all-private room facility matching the superior care provided. The ongoing expansion underscores our commitment to reaching beyond today’s capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the community and fostering a healthier future for all we serve.

Our dedicated rehabilitation specialists and expanded rehabilitation space thanks to the campus transformation has bolstered our care capabilities – and soon we will be adding further enhancements to our rehabilitation services through our partnership with the Gilbert Family Foundation and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
