How to Apply

Henry Ford Early College generally admits only for the fall term. The admissions process begins much earlier. Applications are accepted January 1 - March 1.

To apply to HFEC follow these steps:

• For the application for current 9th graders applying for 10th grade; please call the HFEC Office at
  (313) 317-1588 or email najif@dearbornschools.org
• Application for current 8th graders applying to 9th grade - Wayne county residents

After all documentation is received, we will contact you to set up an interview. Interviews are usually conducted in February through early April.

Final student selection is by lottery.
