Robert Young is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Henry Ford Health South Market and Henry Ford Medical Group. As CFO, Rob provides financial oversight for Henry Ford Hospital, Henry Ford Medical Group, Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital and over two dozen ambulatory medical centers and behavioral health services.

His responsibilities include budget development, quarterly forecasting, monthly financial close, and capital and financial analysis. Rob also oversees finances for Henry Ford Health product lines, including Radiology, Inpatient Pharmacy and Pathology.

Rob serves as a member on more than a dozen System committees, including System Quality Forum, No Harm Steering Committee, Medical Laboratory Formulary Committee, CFO Revenue Cycle Steering Committee and the Utilization Management Committee.

He began his career with Henry Ford Health in 1998 as a computer programmer. Since then, he has held various titles such as, corporate director of System finance, director of network finance and vice president of network finance and System product lines.

Rob holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Business Economics from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Administration from Michigan State University.

Outside of Henry Ford, Rob serves as a board member and treasurer for Eastside Community Network, a non-for-profit community development organization serving east Detroit.
