Kirsten VollmarKirsten is an inpatient Social Worker and Case Manager at Henry Ford Hospital currently working in the neuro step-down unit. Kirsten is Canadian; She graduated from the University of Windsor with a Master of Social Work in 2016 after working as a child protection worker for 6 years. Kirsten also has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Trent University in Peterborough, Canada.

Her current interests include preserving patient autonomy and reducing length of stay while improving timeliness of care. She is involved in many projects and committees at Henry Ford and is currently the Vice President of the Social Work & Case Management Counsel, and a member of the Education Committee and part of the Case Management Stroke Team.

While not at work, her hobbies include: traveling, enjoying craft beer and wine, and playing board games.
