Rob is a healthcare IT professional with over 8 years of experience in both building and training clinical applications. On the front line of the effort to implement electronic health records at both the Detroit Medical Center and Henry Ford Health, Rob has seen how large-scale innovation has affected every aspect of a health system’s operations. Throughout this experience he became interested in the growing field of behavioral economics and how these relatively small innovative practices could provide us with the hard evidence to test many long-held beliefs in healthcare administration. Rob is thankful to the Henry Ford Innovation Institute for the Davidson Fellowship opportunity and is extremely excited to learn about how healthcare innovation starts from the ground-level up through the implementation phase.
