Amit was born and raised in London, UK where he completed his training as a Urologist at Imperial College Healthcare and the Royal Marsden Hospital. He moved to Detroit to undertake a fellowship in robotic urological surgery, here at Henry Ford Hospital, and is currently in his second year. He has a special interest in urological oncology and is current working with a state wide collaborative to advance the quality of care for renal cancer patients across the state of Michigan. He ultimately hopes that his involvement in The Davidson Fellowship will help create systems to improve the care for cancer patients in an efficient and novel manner. In his spare time, Amit enjoys cooking, travelling, golf and spending time with his family and friends.
