Ilaaf serves as the Division Head of Pediatric Otolaryngology in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at Henry Ford Health. She is the sole Pediatric Otolaryngologist and was the first pediatric otolaryngologist to join the group in over 20 years, and has built a thriving pediatric otolaryngology practice from scratch.

Ilaaf is passionate about research that advances the quality of care while decreasing costs to patients. She has focused on providing her patients and families with quality care at a convenient, cost effective method through virtual and mobile visits. She will be the first in our department to provide mobile video visits for her patients and their families to provide vital information for surgical planning.

In addition to her clinical work, she teaches the next generation of residents and medical students and serves as a supervising attending in the clinic and operating room, and as a mentor to resident research activities.
