Pooja currently works as a Healthcare Data Analytics Analyst at Health Alliance Plan (HAP). Pooja holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from India and a Master’s degree in Medical Informatics from Indiana-Purdue University, Indianapolis, Indiana. Her undergraduate course work trained her to think like a scientist and she was able to publish her work in 6 International Journals. The laboratory courses in her under graduate education have provided Pooja with the skills of performing various analytical techniques.

Pooja started working with different EMR Vendors while she was pursuing her graduate studies. With her strong educational background and experience working with EMR Vendors she has made an immediate impact on the Medical Record Chart Collection Process at HAP by improving the new Chart Collection Program.

A deep fascination for research and innovation in Healthcare coupled with the passion for learning and exploring have inspired Pooja to pursue her career in the Healthcare Industry.
