Amy Loree

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and research scientist in the Center for Health Policy & Health Services Research at Henry Ford Health. My research and clinical interests broadly focus on substance use and women's health, particularly during the perinatal period. Much of my work involves developing and implementing technology-based interventions to help identify and treat mental health and substance use disorders, including conducting screening and brief intervention and improving access to evidence-based care. My colleagues and I have developed several digital health tools that are currently being implemented in several HFH clinics. I am passionate about improving health outcomes and overall wellbeing for birthing people and their families. Outside of work, I spend most of my time chasing around my very active 11-month-old daughter, exploring the beaches and parks around Michigan, practicing yoga, and cooking and trying new restaurants.
