Elective Rotation Request
Henry Ford Genesys Hospital has affiliation agreements set up with many Medical Schools allowing their students to rotate with us. Please check the list to make sure your school is on the list. If you would like to rotate at Genesys and your school is not on the list, please email stopoli1@hfhs.org.
Due to high demand, visiting students are limited to (2 ) two rotations or (8) eight weeks of rotations per academic year. Visiting students are able to do two types of rotations: Elective or Audition. The difference is that an audition rotation is a rotation where the student is planning on applying to the specific program for residency. Audition rotations are anytime from May to January depending upon the program. During that time frame, elective rotations are not permitted in the specific programs. Some rotations only allow auditioning students.
