Application Process
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
The Henry Ford Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program participates exclusively in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Registration. Ranking, and Results® (R3®) system main fellowship match utilizing the Electronic Residency Application Service Program (ERAS). Applications are accepted when the main Fellowship Match opens annually at the end of July.
We have two (2) positions offered per year in our two-year ACGME accredited fellowship program. We begin accepting applications in July. We interview Candidates from late August through November.

Applicant eligibility criteria
- Trainees must have completed two years in an ACGME accredited general psychiatry residency program.
- USMLE or COMLEX Scores with passing grades including step I, II and III
- Passing of the clinical skills assessment exam
- Recent scholarly activity; publications, abstracts, presentations
Strong interest in child and adolescent psychiatry as demonstrated by scholarly work, personal statement, volunteer experience or other evidence that you provide.
